A community group are holding a regular coffee mornings at a Worcester nature reserve - with their next event taking place this Sunday (August 6).
The Friends of Laugherne Brook are looking after the reserve while welcoming like-minded individuals to the site to spend time together.
The pop-up café is held on the first Sunday of the month at Coles Meadow, Solitaire Avenue.
There is a large mobile café on site and representatives from The Wildlife Trust.
Stuart Minchin, community engagement officer, said: “The idea behind the pop-up café is to offer an opportunity for people to get together on a Sunday morning for a chat in the beautiful surrounds of the Laugherne Brook local nature reserve.
“With a change in shopping habits, use of cars when people go out and the loss of our local pub, there seemed to be few opportunities for people to bump into their neighbour.
“Our next event is this Sunday (August 6).
“Everyone is welcome to come along, they can buy a coffee, cake or bacon roll if they wish, but most importantly to have a chat.
“We try to have an activity at the same time, for example the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust Meadow Morning.”
