A DRIVER was stopped after he tailgated other drivers at high speeds on a motorway.
The M42 speeder was caught tailgating other drivers at nearly 100mph.
The Operations Patrol Unit for Worcestershire, part of West Mercia Police, recorded his average speed as 96mph today (Wednesday).
OT84 sighted a vehicle at excess speed tailgating other drivers on the M42 this afternoon. A following check on our trusty Provide speed detector showed an average speed of 96MPH. A spokesperson for OPU Worcestershire said the driver was driving 'at excess speed tailgating other drivers on the M42 this afternoon'.
"A following check on our trusty Provide speed detector showed an average speed of 96mph," they added.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver reported. He is now awaiting a court date.
