A CITY music festival has announced it will have free entry today due to the rain forecast throughout the day.
Due to the rain forecast for the rest of the day, organisers of Wacky Weekender have said the event is free to enter.
A spokesperson said they" have to do this" and advised the public to bring some waterproofs and enjoy the music.

They said: "Due to the weather we are doing free entry today. Come and down because we have fantastic live music all day, great stalls and food and drink.
"If you have paid full price please come and speak to us and we will sort you out with some great food.
"Due to the weather, we feel we have to do this. Wear your waterproofs and come and enjoy the music! Don’t let the rain stop you."
On Friday, the headline act was 'Dodgy' and tonight's headliner will be The Bluetones.
Sunday's headline acts will be Toploader and Scouting For Girls.
