A 44-YEAR-old has been found guilty by magistrates of driving while using a mobile phone.
Sarah Donovan, of Arrowsmith Avenue, Worcester, did not appear for her trial on Wednesday, (July 19), and was found guilty of using a handheld mobile phone/device while driving in her absence.
Donovan committed the offence while driving an Audi A4 on Sansome Street, Worcester, on September 9 last year.
Donavan was given six penalty points added to her driving licence and fined £220.
The defendant was ordered to pay £110 costs and £88 victim surcharge.
Donavan was told to pay the full amount, £418, before August 16.
