ARGOS has said the future of a city store is secure following closures elsewhere nationwide.
The Argos store in The Shambles closed in 2021, and the retailer has announced plans to close 100 stores this year.
But Argos has moved to reassure customers its store in Elgar Retail Park is safe.

An Argos spokesperson said: "The transformation of our Argos store and distribution network has been ongoing since 2020.
"We would always talk to our colleagues first about any changes we are making in our estate.
"We have not announced any plans to close our Worcester Elgar Retail Park Argos at the moment."
