A WORCESTER High Street clothes store has swapped to self-service checkouts.
H&M has replaced its manned check-outs with self-checkout options for customers to purchase items at the city store.
There is just one desk now which is manned and where exchanges can be made.
The Swedish firm's checkouts have a three-step guide requiring shoppers to scan and pay, before deactivating the security tag on the item of clothing being purchased.
The revamp at the store by the world's second-biggest clothing retailer may divide customers, as some see the checkouts as speeding up the process while others complain about useability including the classic message: "‘Unexpected item in bagging area."
We approached H&M to ask what had sparked the move and what they would do to help shoppers having difficulties - but we had no response.
