Families can “explore, move and wonder” at Croome this summer – as part of a jam-packed events schedule.
Children can create a giant birds nest, have fun on a festival-inspired stage, play garden games and practice cloud gazing as part of the historic venue’s holiday plans.
They’ll also be craft activities, geology days, storytelling, a sculptural sound installation and more.
Visitors could start by exploring the beautiful parkland with Summer of Play activities around every corner, picnic spots, nature and wildlife.
Then head to the house to find a sculptural sound installation and engage the children with contemporary art - and if it’s more activities they’re after – in the basement they’ll be an activity room with paper crafts, colouring projects and a reading nook.
Chantelle Williams, visitor experience and operations manager at Croome, said: “We're all so excited about our summer of play offer- we have a real festival feel to the parkland and after your admission, the number of free activities to enjoy is great!
“My favourite area is the Rotunda where you can stop and take a breath in nature with our yoga and cloud gazing activities - although I do also love the performance area.”
Summer of Play at Croome is from July 26 until September 3.
The parkland, visitor centre, cafe, and shop is open 10am until 5pm. The house opens from 11am until 4.30pm.
