A POPULAR food event is returning to Worcester city centre this week.

Worcester Dining Club will be returning to Cathedral Square on Friday, July 21, bringing a host of independent food vendors to the city centre.

Seven vendors will be offering a wide variety of cuisine at this week's event.

Beef on the Block

Beef on the Block is a 'street food steak house' which regularly attends pop-up events and festivals across the UK.

Disco Fries

Disco Fries serve a variety of hand-cut loaded fries and side dishes from an eye-catching van.

Hope You're Hungry

Hope You're Hungry sells a variety of East Asian Street Food, including Baos, katsu curry and rice bowls.

Street Souvlaki

Street Souvlaki sells traditional Greek BBQ items such as souvlaki kebabs cooked over charcoal.

Mrs Patel's

Mrs Patel's specialises in Gujarati soul food, such as chicken tikka, lamb sheesh and other speciality items.

Only Jerkin'

Only Jerkin' sells fried chicken with Caribbean flavours and regularly caters for festivals and events in the UK.

Flats Doughnuts

Flats Doughnuts is bringing its unique vegan desserts to Worcester Dining Club this Friday, sold from a retro-style van.

Jack Brabant, founder of Digbeth Dining Club said "This is our third of four events scheduled in the Cathedral Square this year and it's been a roaring success. Over the years we've been inundated with requests to come to the citycentre so it's been great to finally be able to feed the people of Worcester and bring along with us the unique DDC atmosphere!"

The next Worcester Dining Club is set to be held in September.
