TWO suspects have been bailed after armed police raided a Worcester home and seized weapons including an axe and a machete as a police probe continues.
Dramatic scenes unfolded in Liverpool Road, Ronkswood last Wednesday when armed police carried out a search of a home, seizing an axe, a machete and a metal bar.
A small quantity of cannabis was also seized during the raid which involved the road being closed for public safety.
This week a spokesperson for West Mercia Police confirmed that the two people arrested had been bailed while enquiries continue in what is an active and ongoing investigation.
No charges have yet been brought in relation to the incident.
The weapons confiscated, which have as yet yielded no separate action, were discovered in the lounge.

The weapons were discovered after armed police went to the road at around 10am last Wednesday.
Officers cordoned off the road and directed traffic away while multiple police officers arrived on the scene. A section of Liverpool Road was closed at both ends while the incident was underway.
They arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
A 21-year-old woman fron Luton was also arrested in connection to an outstanding warrant for minor traffic offences from Westminster Magistrates Court.
Officers with firearms were seen outside the street and evidence was later removed from the scene and placed inside the boot of a police car.
DI Dave Knight of Proactive CID said officers from the newly formed Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team (NCFT) were first on the scene.
Officers responded to reports of disorder at an address in Liverpool Road.
DI Knight said last week: "Armed officers were used to search the property and two people were arrested at that address. Due to perceived threats, a search was carried out with armed officers who met no resistance."
He added: "This is a good example of different police units working together with the common purpose of keeping the public safe."
During the incident at 9.16pm several people could not return to their homes. The NCFT, set up at the start of this month, was set up to target areas of local concern.
The road was reopened at around 11.30am the same day.
