A coffee shop chain is set to open another new store in a city retail park.
Famous coffee chain Starbucks has revealed plans to move into the Shrub Hill Retail Park in Tallow Hill, Worcester, taking over a unit left empty by Carphone Warehouse.
The Magic Bean Company, the UK-based franchise group for Starbucks, has submitted a planning application to Worcester City Council asking to revamp the former phone shop with new signs and its famous branding.
It would be the city’s third Starbucks with coffee shops already located in The Cross and Cathedral Square.

Planning consultants Carney Sweeney, which is acting as the agent on the application, also regularly works on plans to open new Starbucks drive-thrus.
Starbucks also recently revealed plans to open a new 24-hour drive-thru at Pinvin Services off the village’s busy A44 road in nearby Pershore.
