POLICE say a woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after a dog attack in which a second person was also hurt.
Officers say they gave first aid to two people before paramedics arrived and they were taken to hospital.
The dog was dead when officers arrived.
A police statement said: "We are currently on scene at a house on Boughton Avenue in Worcester following a report of injuries to the occupants caused by a dog at the premises.
"Officers were called to the scene at 9.10am and carried out first aid on two people until paramedics arrived.

"A 68-year-old woman has been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with life-threatening injuries.
"A 38-year-old man has been taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with injuries which are not life-threatening.
"The dog was dead when officers arrived, and we can confirm there is no further risk to members of public."
