A SUPERMARKET giant is set to come to a Worcestershire town next year.
A new Aldi store could be coming to King George's Way in Pershore as early as 2024.
Earlier this year, Aldi bosses agreed to buy Pershore Market to make it into a new supermarket.
The historic market has been a staple part of the community for over 40 years.
But Oliver Mackaness, director at Pershore Market said: "Aldi is the ideal business to deliver a store that meets the needs of modern-day Pershore."
Up to 40 new jobs will be created at the store and there will also be over 100 free parking spaces on the site.
The new store represents a £5 million investment and bosses hope to submit a planning application this year.

Simon Glover, real estate director at Aldi, said: "Last week we launched a public consultation on the proposal for a new, carefully designed Aldi store in Pershore.
"The store will create new jobs and improve local shopping choices, offering high quality, great value products in a suitable town centre location.
"Aldi is committed to delivering the new store, which represents a £5 million investment, as soon as possible.
"Our current intention is to submit a planning application later this year. If planning permission is granted, we would be targeting a store opening date in 2024/25."
Sustainability measures will also be added to the site including solar panels and air source heat pumps.
Mr Glover added: "We are aware of the significant demand for an Aldi store in Pershore and we strongly feel that this site presents a unique opportunity to create a new supermarket in a town centre location for residents."
