POLICE: Large police presence in New Street (Image: From public)
THERE was a large police presence in a city street late on Friday afternoon, (July 8).
At least six police cars were in New Steet with four lined up in the road in front of Bierkeller Showbar, Botanic Cocktail Bar and the former Pheasant pub.
Two of the cars, on blue lights, had parked outside the Phone Repairs shop.
A picture sent to the Worcester News also shows officers out the cars speaking to people in the road.
We have contacted West Mercia Police for comment.
