A TEENAGER with a history of anti-social behaviour has been banned from Worcester.

A Criminal Behaviour Order has been granted against 15-year-old Harley Brown, of Cedar Avenue in Worcester.

The order prohibits the teen from entering the city centre, as well as Malvern town centre and the grounds of Bishop Perowne High School, without supervision.

Chief Inspector Brian Gibbs of Worcester Police, said: “We understand the impact anti-social behaviour has on our communities.

“What this result shows is that we will pursue offenders and we will robustly apply for orders to manage and prevent any future offending in order to make our communities safer.

“My teams work very hard with our communities and I would encourage anyone who is a victim of anti-social behaviour to contact their local safer neighbourhood team.”

The CBO was granted at Worcester Youth Court on Wednesday, July 5.

It states that in order to enter the centre of Worcester or Malvern, Brown must be accompanied by a parent or a person previously approved by social services.

He must also not enter or loiter outside Bishop Perowne, and must not approach or threaten staff and pupils, or those going to and from the school.

The CBO also prohibits Brown from being with 11 particular individuals in any public place, unless a place of education where they are both registered pupils and attending classes.

He must also not wear face coverings such as balaclavas or scarfs covering his face in public unless required by public health measures.

The order also states Brown must not make threats towards others via any means, including social media, and must not refuse to leave premises when asked by someone who has authority to do so.

The final term of the order says that Brown cannot ride any mechanically propelled vehicle, such as mopeds and motorbikes, in an anti-social manner or on any land unless given permission to do so by the landowner.

The CBO will be in force for a period of 16 months.
