SOME county schools will be closed or partially closed for the latest day of teacher's strike action. 

National Education Union (NEU) strikes are continuing as disputes over pay and conditions continues.

We've put together a list of which schools will be affected during the strike action on Friday, (July 7). 

The school's fully closed are: 

 

Stanley Road Primary School, Worcester 

Witton Middle School, Droitwich

St Egwin's CE Middle School, Evesham

Baxter College, Kidderminster

Walkwood CE Middle School, Redditch

 

The school's partially closed are: 

 

Red Hill CE Primary School, Worcester - 1HT, 5BM and 5LB closed.

Westlands First School, Droitwich - King Penguins Class closed due to strike action.

Hindlip CE First School, Droitwich - Blue Class will be closed due to industrial action.

Lickey Hills Primary School, Rubery - The school will be open for Language Base Classes 1 and 2, Year 1 and Year 6.

Birchensale Middle School. Reddich - closed to Key Stage 3.

Franche Community Primary School, Kidderminster - Parents in the affected classes have been notified via ParentMail, all other children should attend school as normal.

Parkside Middle School, Bromsgrove - Open for Year 6 only.

The Bewdley School, Bewdley - The school is closed to all year groups with the exception of years 10 and 12.

The Stourport High School & VI Form College, Stourport - Open to vulnerable students and children of critical workers only.

Webheath Academy Primary School, Redditch - Open for key worker children only due to lack of staff. 

Woodfield Academy, Redditch - Only open to pupils in Year 5.

 

On Wednesday, (July 5), striking teachers took part in a rally in Cathedral Square. 

Teachers from across the county took part in the event which featured chanting, banners and placards. 

A Department for Education spokesperson said: “Any strike action is hugely damaging. "We have made a fair and reasonable pay offer to teachers, recognising their incredible work and commitment."
