A MAN who was arrested on suspicion of racially abusing a staff member of a city clothing shop and assault has been given a caution.
Two police cars and a police van were outside JD Sports in The Shambles yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).
The man was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order and assault but has since been released with a caution according to West Mercia Police.

A store manager at JD Sports in Worcester said her staff were okay following the incident.
She said: "The police presence was due to an incident that happened in our store.
"A customer directed racial abuse at a member of staff and also verbally abused several other members of staff over a pair of trainers.
"Everyone is thankfully okay after the incident."
