A BMW driver caught while over the alcohol limit on the M5 has been handed a one-year ban.
Oliver Hack, aged 33, was caught driving a blue BMW 3 Series while over the limit on the M5 at Gloucester on Thursday, May 25.
Hack was caught by police having consumed 49 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Hack of Northfield Street, Worcester, pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Cheltenham Magistrates’ on Thursday, June 8.
He was fined £200 and must pay a victim services surcharge of £80 plus £85 costs - a total of £365.
He was banned from driving for a year.
This can be reduced by three months if he completes a driving offender course.
