FINALLY work on one of Worcester's most luxurious apartments has been completed - and its views are possibly one of the best in the city.
The Old Fire Station in Copenhagen Street features 28 one, two and three-bedroom apartments at the old hub for the city's firefighters.
The building, which has been left empty since fire chiefs relocated in 2015, was built between 1939 and 1941 by Percy Thomas.

It has now been given a special new lease for life with modern bespoke furniture, wide balconies, and a social area for the residents.
The Old Fire Station still has character features, including high ceilings, tall windows, chimneys, and solid construction.
There is a private roof garden for residents to enjoy with panoramic city views, an external walkway and a courtyard for private parking.

A special event held on Tuesday (June 27) celebrated the penthouse's opening and marked the completion of The Old Fire Station project.
Work on the building started in 2021 when developer Gutherie Roberts decided to regenerate the city's former station into a mix of residential and commercial use.
A year later, The Old Fire Station got its first buyer in 2022.
It has taken over two years for the project to be completed.
Ben Roberts, managing director of Gutherie Roberts, said: "It feels very satisfactory and reassuring because visually it always looked excellent on paper, and then to see it come into fruition and bringing great satisfaction to the local community, this is a reward from my point of view.
"It has been a great relief that such a landmark building is given another life and will be lived in and enjoyed.
"It is also lovely to admire the fruits of so many people's labour."
Its former life as a fire station means that the premier apartments have two-foot thick walls which are apparently bomb-proof.
There are plans for a deli on the ground floor based in the garage area where the fire engines were kept.
However, an opening date for the deli has yet to be announced.
