A secure dog field in Worcester is expanding due to its popularity.

The Claines Secure Dog Field, on School Bank, has opened a second field - and it's just across the road from the current field.

The field is owned by Henry Phillips, of R H Phillips & Co, which operates an existing agricultural business based at Church Farm, Cornmeadow Lane, Claines.

Mr Phillips said: "The first field proved really popular and it always seems to be booked up, so we thought to get a second field opened up for our customers."

The fencing has gone up and the field opened Friday, June 30.

The original field opened in April last year and consists of 0.98 hectares of space for dogs to run around.

The 5ft high fencing runs around the entirety of the park, and access is gained by a keypad on the entry gate.

The park also features tyres and logs for dogs to play with during their visit to the field, and four parking spaces are available at the front of the park.

Social media pictures teasing the new School Bank field show a wide open space with similar tyres and logs.

There is also a picnic bench for owners to use whilst their dogs play, and a JCB on the site setting up the fencing.
