IT WAS certainly a way to make an entrance - a Worcester teen was escorted by over twenty motorbikes to her prom.

Bikers from The Fruity Ride Out Crew lead the procession from Patterdale Drive, in Warndon, for Tia Hill, aged 16.

The procession made its way towards the Bishop Perowne Church Of England College Prom at The Bank House in Bransford.

Toyah Hill, Tia's mother, praised the group for their kindness and efforts to make their daughter's prom entrance memorable.

She said: "The group are friends of friends and when I asked if it would be a possibility they said it would be an honour to do this.

"I then asked how much it would cost and they said nothing at all, which was incredibly generous of them.

"I instead asked if they had a charity close to their hearts that I could direct a payment to so they selected The Soldiers' Charity, which is a lovely cause."

Toyah Hill said her daughter wanted to have a prom entrance to remember.

member, so she set off to work trying to make it happen.

She said: "My daughter made the mistake of saying that she wanted the biggest and loudest entrance so I thought why not see what I can do to make it a reality?

"We are incredibly grateful to the group for making it a reality for her."

Ann Shave, founder of The Fruity Ride Out Crew, said: "This has all been in planning for at least a month and it went perfectly.

"I am really pleased with how we were able to keep everyone close together all the way to the prom despite the heavy traffic.

"Everyone was so happy to be a part of this and make it memorable for Tia, and Toyah kindly offered to make a donation to a charity of our choice which we all voted on.

"The Soldier's Charity is close to a lot of our hearts as we have some ex-soldiers in our group."
