Worcester Balloon Festival is warning people to beware of Facebook posts claiming to be live streams of the event.
The festival, which takes place today and tomorrow (June 23 and 24) at Worcester Racecourse, warned its Facebook followers: “Please be aware of scammers!
“There are multiple accounts linking to a ‘live stream’ this is not us. Please report this and we are blocking as soon as we see them.
“Do not give any details! Any lives will be on our Facebook Live.”
Meanwhile, preparations continue for the festival, which gets underway this afternoon.

There is a funfair set up at the racecourse and, as long as the weather holds out, there should be balloon launches taking place later today.
