If you have kids and like eating out, you’ll always be on the lookout for suitable places to take them.
And with the warmer months here, who doesn’t like a drink while relaxing in a beer garden?
Fortunately, there are several pubs in and around Worcester with play areas so your little ones can run off some of that excess energy before and after sitting down for some food.
The Barn Owl, Warndon
The Barn Owl in Warndon has a large beer garden with picnic benches and a climbing frame sure to keep little ones entertained for a while.
Inside, you’ll find all the big sporting events on the pub’s TVs and a pool table to keep big kids happy.
The Honey Bee, Doverdale
This pub near Droitwich has loads of outside space so kids can run around without bugging your fellow diners too much.
The Honey Bee also has a play area with a slide and cargo net that little ones will love climbing on.
The pub is set in four-and-a-half acres of grounds and boasts two fishing lakes stocked with carp and tench.
The Bell Inn, Lower Broadheath
The Bell Inn has a good-sized beer garden with a play area and a reputation for good food.
It’s also a cosy place when the weather isn’t so good, with its open fire and leather sofas as well as tables and chairs.
Bluebell Farm, Worcester
This family-friendly pub off the A4440 is perfect for when it’s raining as there is a dedicated family zone inside.
Children explore the indoor play area while parents enjoy a drink, safe in the knowledge you’re not bothering anyone who has just come for a quiet pint.
The Swan, Martin Hussingtree
Another spacious pub with a big beer garden and a play area for children to explore in a safe environment.
Dogs are welcome too, so the whole family can enjoy a drink in the garden.
