AN AWARD-winning musician's concert and performances featuring the music of Elvis and ABBA are coming to Worcester Cathedral.

The iconic Worcester Cathedral has a host of events to look forward to over the coming months, including music, art and a market.

Elvis by Candlelight 

If you are a fan of the King of Rock and Roll, Worcester Cathedral has just the event for you coming in July.

An Elvis tribute act will be performing hit songs like Jail House Rock, Suspicious Minds, Devil in Disguise, The Wonder of You and many more alongside a live band on Thursday, June 27.

Tickets for the event range from £10 side aisle seating to £40 front of stage seating.

The doors for the event open at 6.45pm and the performance will be between 7.30pm and 10pm.

The Music of Abba by Candlelight

The day after Elvis Presley's hits will fill Worcester Cathedral, an ABBA tribute band will grace the stage (Friday, June 28).

Abba Reunion will be performing over 20 hit songs such as Mamma Mia, Voulez Vouz, Thank You for the Music, Dancing Queen and many more.

Just like the Elvis event, tickets range from £10 side aisle seating to £40 front of stage seating.

The doors for the event open at 6.45pm and the performance will be between 7.30pm and 10pm.

Craft and Gift Fayre in the Cloister

In August, the Craft and Gift Fayre in the Cloister will be held on Saturday 12.

There will be over 20 craft and gift stalls spread throughout the medieval cloisters, as well as a Summer Fayre Recital an accordion and guitar recital by Duo Chaimbeul.

The event will be held between 10am to 4pm and is free to attend.

One of the most anticipated dates on the calendar is Russel Watson performing at Worcester Cathedral in September.

The world-renowned tenor will be performing a special show with classic songs old and new, together with a selection of hits from his illustrious career on Saturday, September 23.

Russell Watson has sold more than 7 million albums worldwide.

Tickets cost between £54.45 and £74.25 and include reserved and unreserved seating.
