A NEW 24-hour Starbucks Drive Thru has been proposed for a Worcestershire village.
Plans have been submitted for the drive-through coffee shop at the Pinvin Services on the A44 and B4083 roundabouts by the EG Group.
EG Group hopes if the plans are passed, it will help them to provide "more comprehensive roadside facilities for drivers".

The Starbucks Drive Thru will be spread across 188 square meters and will have sit-in and drive through facilities in a bid to provide customers rest and respite when also purchasing fuel or using the recharging facilities.
A total of 20 new jobs will also be created if plans go ahead, and the site will aim to operate on a 24-hour basis.
The coffee drive through will be located north of the services, consisting of a petrol filling station and a car wash.

In the application statement, a spokesperson said: "The requirement for a proposed development has arisen following a review of the performance of the existing facility and a desire to provide a more comprehensive roadside offer based on the market-leading experience of the applicant.
"The closest retail centre to the site is at Pinvin, which is located to the north of the A44.
"Given the roadside use of the site and its overwhelming use by passing motorists, the Site is not in direct competition with the retail uses within the centre."
If passed, the site will welcome an additional 28 car parking spaces, including disabled and eight EV ultra-fast charging points, which will be placed in the location of the existing car wash.
Currently, vehicular and pedestrian access is taken from the B4083, and the plans do not suggest any alterations.
Consultation for the plans ends on June 22 and can be found under the planning reference number W/23/00714/FUL.
