A Worcester City Council spokesperson said: “The mini trampolines at Perdiswell Park have been damaged and, in the interests of public safety, have taken them out of use."
Worcester City Council revealed it has plans to replace the trampolines and hopes to install brand-new ones by the end of this month (June).
The play area is next to Perdiswell Leisure Centre on Astwood Road and includes swings, roundabouts, slides and smaller climbing equipment – all surrounded by soft-fall surfacing.
The playground's centrepiece is an elaborate climbing equipment designed to resemble Spitfire.
