A NEW pizza place has opened in Droitwich.

Caprinos Pizza on Yew Tree Hill, Woodland Way, officially opened last week.

The business, which has several stores across the UK, hosted a grand opening where it gave out free pizzas to its first customers.

On Facebook, a spokesperson said: "Droitwich, Here We Come.

"We are delighted to announce our new store opening."

The Yew Tree Village development has seen a variety of new businesses open in the 500-home housing development.

There were plans to build five new shops at the heart of the housing development in Droitwich have been put forward.

Caprinos has joined Droitwich Desserts, Co-Op, Ale Hub Micropub and Let's Fry Fish and Chips as part of the development. 

Caprinos' Droitwich branch has 4.1 stars on Google and is open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm.
