A PEDESTRIAN suffered serious injuries after being hit by a lorry in the early hours of the morning.
The woman, aged 18, was hit by a lorry on the A46 near to Ashton under Hill at approximately 3.25am this morning (Sunday 11 June).
She was taken to hospital where she is in a stable condition.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
