DRAMATIC pictures show a fallen tree on top of a shop after today's thunderstorm.
The A4133 in Holt Fleet has been closed after a tree that collapsed on the Wine Cabin pulled a power cable.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the road for their safety and to find another route.
The section of road affected is next to the Holt Fleet convenience store just before the bridge.
Worcestershire Highways said they are working as quickly as possible to get the area clear.
A West Mercia Operations & Communications Centre spokesperson said: "A Road will be closed very shortly, A4133 Holt Fleet, Worcestershire, near the convenience store.
"Tree has come down, pulling a power cable with it due to heavy rain.
"Please do not use this road for your safety and find another route."
A Worcestershire Highways spokesperson said: "Alert - fallen tree A4133 Holt Fleet, we have a crew on the way to clear ASAP."
A yellow warning for thunderstorms has been issued by the Met Office after Worcestershire experienced some of the hottest weather so far this year.
