IT is well known nationally as a go-to destination but is West Midland Safari Park the undisputed coolest destination in Worcestershire?
Here are some of the reasons the park is the place to be:
1. Animals all ages will want to see.
Who doesn't love seeing animals? The perfect family day out for the whole family visitors can enjoy a safari-type ride seeing their favourite animals including elephants, rhinos, lions and giraffes.
The Bewdley attraction has welcomed more than 30 million visitors after first opening its doors in 1973, showing the popularity of the animals.
Many of the animals who live at the park today were born there and are part of breeding groups for endangered species.
2. Adventure trails.
Visitors can get up close and personal with some of the animals on the walking adventure trials the attraction has to offer.
They include the African Walking Trail, the Red Panda Retreat, Reptile World, Lorikeet Landing, Aquarium and Twilight Cave.
History lovers are also sure to enjoy the Land of the Dinosaurs, where dinosaurs are brought to life.
3. Adventure Theme Park
More fun for all ages can be had at the adventure theme park.
Rollercoaster lovers are sure to enjoy the coasters on offer including Monkey Mayhem and Rhino Coaster.
Plus there is also the Wild River Rafting boat.
4. Safari Lodges
Not only can you enjoy a day out at the popular destination but visitors can also stay in luxury accommodation on the side.
Last year the spectacular safari lodges went viral on Tik Tok for offering incredible wildlife views.
West Midland Safari Park offers an elephant lodge, a red panda cottage, a cheetah lodge, a giraffe lodge and a rhino lodge.
