CELEBRITY gardener Monty Don came face-to-face with snake at his Herefordshire home yesterday (Monday).
The Gardeners' World star told his social media followers that it got "very tangled" in the chicken wire, and was probably after the eggs.
However, Monty was able to set the green-coloured grass snake free and watched as it "went off in the distance."
Managed to free this grasssnake from the chicken's enclosure this morning. Completely trapped. Probably after eggs. pic.twitter.com/ccvqDuYIGb
