A MANHUNT has been launched to find and arrest a man accused of stealing meat.
Michael Coffey, of Bridge Street, Stourport, was scheduled to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court for the first hearing of his case on Tuesday, (June 6).
The 52-year-old is accused of stealing roast ham, beef, sirloin steak and turkey slices worth £143.40 from a petrol station which is part of the EG Group in Stourport.
The theft is alleged by the prosecution to have taken place on April 8 this year.
But when the case was called on by the court clerk it was clear Coffey was not in attendance.
Trevor Burgess, chairman of the magistrates bench, announced a warrant would be issued for Coffey's arrest.
