A MAN has been banned from driving and given 120 hours of unpaid work after being arrested for failing to show up to court.
James McGeown, of Highfield Close, Droitwich, had a warrant issued for his arrest without bail on Friday, June 2 for failing to show up to Worcester Magistrates' Court.
He was arrested on Sunday, June 4 and detained until Monday, June 5.

He was found guilty of two offences in his absence on Tuesday, May 9.
McGeown drove an Audi A3, on Highfield Close in Droitwich, whilst he was disqualified from holding or obtaining a license on Monday, December 19
He also drove the Audi A3 without third-party insurance.
McGeown appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 5, where he was given 120 hours of unpaid work to be completed within the next 12 months.
He was also given a nine-month obligatory driving ban and was ordered to pay £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £114 surcharge.
