PEOPLE in Worcestershire are spoilt for choice when it comes to pubs in this county.
But if you're on the lookout for somewhere new to drink, you're in luck because we asked our readers to share some of their favourite pubs they consider to be "hidden gems."
The Camp House in Grimley
This country pub is best known for its "rural charm" and has been a part of the community for the past 84 years.
And guests are often welcomed by geese at the pub.
The Alma Tavern
Most people would call the Alma Tavern a wholesome community pub on Droitwich Road in Worcester.
The pub is owned by happy-go-lucky ex-policeman Jon Dean, 51, and hospitality expert, Will Bradley, 38, and over the years they are proud of the community they have built.
The Dragon Inn
The Dragon Inn on The Tything has been called a "quality old-fashioned boozer."
Other punters called it cosy and traditional with a beer garden at the back.
Karl Miller commented on Worcester News Facebook page and said: "The Dragon Inn - Worcester, great beer, great surroundings, the best bar staff ever and definitely attracts a good crowd of people."
Another reviewer on TripAdvisor said: "I am an American and was living in Worcester off and on for nearly two years.
"I felt so welcomed and a part of the Dragon family! My favourite pub in Worcester!"
Three Nuns pub in Powick
Three Nuns on Collett's Green Road in Powick has been "top-notch" and another reviewer said, "It is hard to beat."
Some reviewers have also classed it to have one of the best roasts in Worcestershire.
The Farriers Arms
The Farriers Arms on Fish Street is right in the heart of the city.
Punters can enjoy home-cooked meals at this pub.
One diner said they were a fan of the Chili con carne while visiting the pub.
Another fan called it an "old school pub" and said: "A great value pub with excellent food at affordable prices. A hidden gem. I always visit when in Worcester."
The Queens Head, Woverly
The Queens Head in Woverley, in Kidderminster, is known for its affordable and reasonable prices.
One reviewer said: "I’m not much into Sunday dinners & have been put off in the past by the carvery experience.
"However, this was a great pub and the roast lunch was perfect. The care taken in all elements of the meal, great choice of meats and beautifully cooked accompaniments."
The Eagle Vaults
This pub is located in one of the most historic cities in the city, Friar Street.
The 17th-century pub is in the heart of Worcester and one diner even called it the 'best breakfast in Worcester.'
Lamb and Flag
This quirky pub is in the city centre and the building dates back to 1820.
The Lamb and Flag on The Tything in Worcester has become a popular place to visit since Richard Bartran and Ron Morgan bought the venue in 2016.
Over the years the bar has had some famous visitors including Tyrone Mings, who is a footballer for Aston Villa and England.
Paul Pry
This lay empty for years but is now considered one of the best pubs in the city according to online reviews.
Paul Pry in The Butts has been run by landlord Alex Pope for the past five years.
Punters are greeted by resident dog Alfie as they walk into the venue.
