All the thefts took place at Worcester stores.

Timmins, who has been battling with a heroin addiction, has two previous convictions for shoplifting.

The defendant is currently remanded in custody and was brought up to the dock from the cells for her hearing at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (May 30).

Chris Aggrey, defending Timmins, explained she had hoped the hearing would be for her sentencing but a pre-sentence report with the probation service still had not been written.

He asked for the case to be adjourned for the report so that Timmins could be sentenced next week.

Mark Hambling, prosecuting, confirmed Timmins had been remanded in custody to stop the defendant from committing anymore thefts.

Chairman of the magistrates bench, Megan Harrison, told Timmins her sentencing would take place at the court on June 9.

In a previous hearing, on May 4, magistrates gave Timmins conditional bail, stressing to her she was not allowed to enter or loiter outside any Sainsbury's store for any reason.

But, as it has emerged from these offences, just three days later she had ignored that and was stealing again from the supermarket.
