WATCH the suprising moment a deer jumped over a six foot fence to escape a back garden in Pershore.

Ravina Kaur and her family were left in awe when they realised a deer had jumped over their garden fence.

Mrs Kaur, an aesthetician and reiki master teacher, said it's quite common to spot badgers and foxes in her back garden because she lives in a rural area.

But this was the first time she spotted a deer in her back garden.

The video shows a deer galloping through the garden until the animal gets scared and decides to make a quick getaway over the six feet fence.

Mrs Kaur said she was left in "awe" when she spotted a deer in her back garden.

Although Mrs Kaur is no stranger to seeing wildlife in her rural home in Pershore.

She said: "You couldn't make it up.

"We expect badgers and foxes in our garden.

"But I went to let my dog out and normally I just use the back door and when I looked out the window, I saw a deer.

"You can't get inside our garden, so how the deer got in is unknown.

"It must have done a run and jump to get over our garden fence.

"The fence is 6ft high, it is incredible."

She added: "And we were like, what the hell just happened?

"We were shocked and a little bit cautious.

"We had sheep in the courtyard once, where everyone parks their cars.

"Everyone is like you don't see a deer in your garden every day.

"I don't think running over the fence, is anything new for them, but to see it was phenomenal. "Normally people, see rats, mice and cats in their garden, but we have a deer.'

"I'm still in awe of it.

"We went to Mexico and we saw deers there, but you don't expect to see one on your doorstep.

"We would have called the RSPCA if it didn't jump over the fence"

The video was also posted on TikTok and viewers were shocked deer could actually jump that high.

One commenter said: "Wow, I had no idea deers could scale fences like that! Love seeing the wildlife though."
