TWO people wanted fourteen times in Scotland have been caught shoplifting in Worcester.
The pair had large quantities of high-valued goods from the city and were found on the M5 by Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) and West Mercia Police Dogs.
They were stopped by junction 1 for Wellington and had given police false details and used fake ID cards.
They are also awaiting prosecution for 65 offences.
A spokesperson for OPU Worcestershire said: "A vehicle stopped earlier today at J1 M5 with CMPG and West Mercia Police Dogs following a high-value attempted theft in Worcester.
"Two occupants were arrested, and many suspected stolen items were recovered.
"Occupants in custody were found to have given false details and used fake ID cards but were confirmed to be wanted 14 times in Scotland and awaiting prosecution for 65 offences."
