DOG owners made the most of the sun as they enjoyed a walk for charity.
Witley Court and Gardens played host to the Agria Walk, with thousands of families and pets from across Europe joining in as well.
This year marked the beginning of a new three-year partnership between pet insurer Agria and English Heritage.
Speaking shortly after midday, Witley Court’s site manager Sarah Connor said: “It has been very good so far, we have had lots of people coming with their dogs and we expect it to get even busier as the day goes on.”

She added: “This is a new partnership between English Heritage and Agria and it is the first time we have hosted the walk.
“There are various walks going on across the country and we have been picked as one of the sites because we have such beautiful grounds and we always have a lot of dog walkers here.”
For every dog that took part in the walk, Agria made a £5 donation which will go toward supporting a variety of charities.
One such charity is Birmingham-based Daybreaks Trust, with Agria providing five free weeks of insurance for every dog in their care.
Many of those taking on the walk in the 20-plus degree heat had rescued their furry friends from Daybreaks, including Angie and Nigel Allbones from Solihull.
“We adopted Roxie on Monday,” said Mrs Allbones.
“We just wanted to give back to Daybreaks and show our support for the work they do.
“It has been wonderful to be part of it and it was a very pleasant walk.
“We’ve never been here before. It’s like you come off the M5 and you’re in another world.”

Kempsey resident Jackie Burrows also rescued her dogs, Dillon and Kyla, from Daybreaks.
“I saw this event advertised on Facebook and decided to come to support the brilliant work they do”, she said.
“It’s not far from where I live so I thought I should make the effort and it’s been a really beautiful day.”
