POLICE were called to a train station following safety concerns.
Several train services connecting Worcester and Kidderminster have been cancelled.
This comes following a trespasser on the line.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson has now confirmed they were called to the scene due to concerns for a man's safety.
"We were called to Kidderminster train station at 9.38am today because of concerns for the safety of a male.
"Officers and British Transport Police both attended and the man is now safe."
West Midlands Railway says the train line has now been reopened.
However, disruption is expected to continue until around lunchtime today (May 18).
A WMR spokesperson said: “Services in Worcestershire were subject to delays and cancellations on Thursday morning due to a trespasser on the railway in the Kidderminster area.
“Any passenger whose journey was delayed by 15 minutes or more as a result of the disruption should claim compensation via the Delay Repay scheme.”
British Transport Police has been contacted for further information.
