A MAN has died after a medical emergency that required the air ambulance to land on the playing fields of a Worcester school.
Emergency services rushed to an address in Ingles Drive, St John's, last night (Monday).
However, there was nothing paramedics could do and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Midlands Air Ambulance helicopter landed on a field owned by St Clement's Church of England Primary School, on Henwick Road.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service said staff administered advanced life support.

They said: “We were called at 5.52pm on Monday to a medical emergency at an address on Ingles Drive in Worcester.
"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midland Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and the Midland Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene. Upon arrival, we found a man in a critical condition.
"Ambulance staff administered advanced life support to him but unfortunately it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
