TWO elderly people were seriously hurt after a double-decker bus and car crash on the M5 in Worcestershire.
The elderly man, who was driving the car, and his passenger, an elderly woman, were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Six fire crews, two ambulances and police officers rushed to the M5 southbound between junctions 4a (Bromsgrove) and 5 (Droitwich) after reports of a crash.

West Midlands Ambulance said the pair's injuries were not life-threatening but were potentially serious.
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.51am to a road traffic collision involving a car and a bus on the M5 between junctions 4a and 5 in Upton Warren, Bromsgrove.
"Two ambulances attended the scene.
"Upon arrival, we found an elderly man who was the driver of the car and an elderly female who was a passenger.
"Both were assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained potentially serious injuries that were not life-threatening.
"They received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene and were conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment.”
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFR) said no one was trapped in the two vehicles.

Fire crews made the car and bus safe, and West Mercia Police said no arrests were made.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 10.45am yesterday morning (Sunday, May 14) we were called to a two-vehicle collision on the M5 southbound between junctions 4a and 5.
"Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by ambulance.
"No arrests were made."
One lane of the motorway was closed for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon and a second lane was closed briefly while emergency services worked at the scene.
National Highways West Midlands said there were delays of 20 minutes and about two miles of congestion following the crash.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Six Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – from Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich, Leominster, Worcester and Evesham Fire Stations – were called at 11.49am on May 14 to a road traffic collision on the M5 Southbound between junctions 4A and 5.
"The incident involved a double-decker bus and a car.
"No persons were trapped, and both vehicles, which were made safe by fire service personnel, were on all four wheels.
"One casualty was handed over to the care of the ambulance service, who attended along with police and highways.
"The incident was marked as closed at 12.33pm."
