A 36-YEAR-old man has admitted driving whilst disqualified but denies using a mobile phone at the time.
Matthew Heaton, of Lark Hill, Worcester, will now face a trial in the summer.
During his appearance at Worcester Magistrates Court Heaton admitted driving a Mercedes on the Alcester Bypass in Arrow, near Alcester, on January 12 this year when he was banned from the road.
Heaton denied the second charge of using a mobile phone while driving.

Kevin Lloyd-Wright, Chairman of the magistrates bench, told Heaton he was to attend his trial at Worcester Magistrates Court on July 31.
The chairman warned the defendant if he did not attend his trial he risked it going ahead in his absence.

Heaton was given unconditional bail.
