THE following cases were heard at magistrates court recently in Worcestershire.
Anthony Roberts of Amber Heights, Green Hill, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.
The 56-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, sexual assault and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Roberts was remanded to appear at the city's crown court next month.

James Roberts, of Elm Road, Evesham, accused of two rapes, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Roberts, formerly of Worcester, is accused by the prosecution of committing two rapes in the city on November 11, 2021.
The 25-year-old spoke only to confirm his name and address during his court appearance.

Liam Glasgow, of Dragonfly Green, Worcester, apologised to magistrates for being caught speeding twice within an hour on the A4440 Nunnery Way.
The 44-year-old was caught speeding on a 40mph stretch of the road at 48mph and 55mph in August last year.
Glasgow was given six penalty points and fined by the magistrates.

Sandro Santos Da Silva smoked cannabis while celebrating a Portugal World Cup win before going drug-driving in Worcester.
The 28-year-old, of Chestnut Street, Worcester, had enjoyed Portugal's win on December 6 but had not realised drugs stayed in his system when he was caught by police near his home on December 7.
Da Silva was disqualified from driving and fined for the offence.

A 44-YEAR-old woman appeared on videolink to Worcester Magistrates Court to admit assault and criminal damage.
Nicola Ayliffe, of Fen Lane, Metheringham, Lincolnshire, and previously of Greenford Gardens, Worcester, committed the crimes in December last year, magistrates heard.
Ayliffe was told to attend her sentencing in person which was scheduled for next month.
