A MAN accused of two rapes has appeared before city magistrates.
James Roberts, of Elm Road, Evesham, spoke only to confirm his name and address when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Roberts, formerly of Worcester, is accused by the prosecution of committing two rapes in the city on November 11, 2021.

Trevor Burgess, chairman of the magistrates bench, told the 25-year-old that he should appear at the next hearing of the case at Worcester Crown Court on May 31.
Roberts was given unconditional bail.
Melanie Winterflood appeared for the prosecution, Belinda Ariss for the defence during the hearing at the court on Thursday (May 4).
