THE OPENING and closing times of supermarkets over the Coronation Weekend have been revealed.
With lots of parties and festivities happening across the city, there may be one or two things you forget on the day that you may need to pick up.
Fear not, supermarkets across the city are still going to be open for those last minute Coronation items.
ALDI
Normal opening hours will remain in place at more than 990 Aldi stores on Saturdays and Sundays.
All the below times apply for Aldi's stores on Tybridge Street, Pheasant Street and Bath Road:
Saturday:8am to 10pm
Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Monday: 8am to 8pm
LIDL
All of Lidl's 960-plus stores will open as normal on Saturday and Sunday.
Lidl branches on Blackpole Road, Newtown Road and Droitwich Road will be open from:
Saturday: 8am to 10pm
Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Monday: 8am to 8pm
Lidl also said that it is predicting that the quietest time to shop will be before 11am and after 4pm.
ASDA
Asda has just one supermarket in Worcester, on Silver Street at St Martin's Gate, which will be open from:
Saturday: 7am to 10pm
Sunday: 11am to 5pm
Monday: 7am to 8pm
Waitrose
Waitrose also has just one location in Worcester, on London Road, which will be open from:
Saturday: 7.30am to 9pm
Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Monday: 8am to 6pm
SAINSBURY'S
Sainsbury's has said that the vast majority of its supermarkets will be open from 8am until 8pm on Monday, May 8 for the King's coronation.
The supermarkets will also have normal trading hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Worcester St John's and Blackpole branches will be open from:
Saturday: 7am to 11pm
Sunday: 7am to 11pm
Monday: 8am to 8pm
TESCO
Tesco has said that its stores will be operating on normal opening hours over the weekend and for the Bank Holiday Monday.
Worcester has two Tesco supermarkets in St Peter's and Warndon Villages.
Saturday: 6am to 12am
Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Monday: 8am to 6pm
