The closest places Worcester residents can go to enjoy the beach have been rated some of the worst in the UK.
Though we live in a landlocked city many of us are happy to travel to some of our nearest beaches for a day out by the sea.
However, two of the closest have not fared well in a recent Which? survey.
Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare were ranked the lowest in customer satisfaction.
More than 3,000 visitors rated over 100 UK seaside towns and villages in one of the company's biggest-ever surveys.
The scoring considers beaches, seafront, accommodation, peace and quiet, scenery and value for money.
Both beaches are the closest Worcester residents have to building sandcastles and paddling in the sea.
Weston-super-Mare, which is the closest beach to Worcester, being 66 miles away, was rated 57 per cent in customer satisfaction.
It was rated two stars on its seafront, food and drink, value for money, peace and quiet and shopping and achieved three for its beach, tourist attractions and scenery.
However, Weston-super-Mare did far better than its coastal sister.
Burnham-on-Sea, 74 miles away from Worcester, was rated the third lowest beach out of all the beaches across the nation, scoring at a disappointing 49 per cent.
It was rated one star for its seafront, food and drink, shopping and tourist attractions and got two stars for its value for money, peace and quiet and scenery.
Despite their negative rating, there are still lots to love about the beaches.
Both beaches are just a short trip down the motorway for Worcester residents and hold various events throughout the year to get excited about.
Weston-super-Mare is famous for its yearly carnival where hundreds and hundreds of bright lights and enthusiastic performers turn the town into a colourful showground.
There is also donkey rides, a pier with attractions and it has a sandy beach.
Burnham-on-Sea also has sandy beach walks for every ability.
