A spellbinding timelapse shows the Northern Lights near Worcester.
Photographer Elliott Parker has captured the stunning purple and pink aurora borealis from Lower Broadheath.
The timelapse consists of 500 photos that Mr Parker took across the night.
Shooting stars can also be seen going through the blend of colours within the timelapse.
The light spectacular is formally known as aurora borealis the nearer it is to the North Pole and an aurora australis or the southern lights to closer it gets to the South Pole.
The phenomenon is caused by collisions between gas particles in the Earth's atmosphere and charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere.
Variations in colour are due to the type of gas particles that are colliding.
