A 26-YEAR-old man who faces a charge of attempted murder has had his case adjourned to assess whether he is 'fit to plead'.

Bryan Lilley, formerly of Hever Avenue, Worcester, is accused of attempting to murder Jonathan Ronald.

The offence is said by the prosecution to have taken place on July 12 last year.

Lilley is also accused of a second count of possession of a Class A drug.

In that count the prosecution alleges Lilley had cocaine in his possession on the same date.

Lilley, who is yet to plead to either charge, was not present at the hearing of his case at Worcester Crown Court.
