A WORCESTER bubble tea brand is set to give out free drinks next weekend.

CUPP, on High Street, is giving away free drinks to tis first 100 customers to celebrate National Boba Tea Day on Sunday, April 30.

The drinks will be made with oat milk sponsored by Minor Figures.

Bubble tea originated in Taiwan in the early 1980s, and typically consists of tea accompanied by chewy tapioca balls, grass jelly, aloe vera or red bean.

Lee Peacock, CUPP's Founder, said: "We're thrilled to celebrate National Boba Tea Day with our customers and give them a taste of our delicious boba tea.

"We're grateful to Minor Figures for sponsoring our Oat Milk and helping us provide our customers with the best quality boba tea."

In addition to the free boba tea giveaways, there will be other fun activities and giveaways in all of the CUPP stores.

Customers can participate in competitions and win exciting prizes.
