TWO men have been jailed for ABH.

We previously reported Ryan Lock, of Barbourne Road, Worcester, had denied ABH and theft while Oliver Brighton, 20, of no fixed abode, had failed to come up from the cells for his court hearing.

Brighton admitted both offences when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, (April 13).

Brighton committed the assault on April 10 last year in Worcester and on the same day stole medication from the victim.

Magistrates told Brighton he would be jailed for 26 weeks.

We reported in March that Brighton, of Chestnut Walk, Worcester, had 11 convictions for 22 offences before being jailed for five years in a young offender's institution.

That jail sentence came for his role in a county lines crack cocaine and heroin plot, and for robbery of a 13-year-old boy with a knife.

Lock had changed his plea to guilty to the ABH before being sentenced at the court.

Lock had been the accomplice in the assault.

Magistrates told Lock he would also be jailed for 26 weeks for the offence.

Mark Hambling, prosecuting, offered no evidence to the theft offence for Lock, which led to him being found not guilty of that offence.

No order for costs was made for Lock or Brighton, but Lock was ordered by magistrates to pay £128 victim surcharge.
