A CITY centre chocolate shop and cafe is closing for good this week.
Chocolate Deli Coffee and Patisserie, on New Street, will be closing on Saturday, April 15 due to retirement.
The independently owned business is operated by a husband-and-wife team, Richard and Lisa Broomhead, and has been in Worcester since 2011.
The cafe offered themed afternoon teas and a variety of Belgian-style chocolates.
A message thanked customers for supporting the cafe - and announced it would continue at its second venue near Droitwich.
They said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for their support over the past 12 years and hope to see you at the Jinney Ring in the future."
Customers wished the team well and spoke of their sadness at the news of the closure.
Despite the closure of the Worcester branch, the business will still be operating from the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury, selling handmade chocolates.

The business first opened at the Jinny Ring Craft Centre back in 2006 and moved to a larger site at the complex in 2009.
